Why just watch sunsets from the ground when you can fly through them?
With our certified instructors and structured paramotor training in North Carolina, you’ll learn every aspect of this life changing sport
including how to launch, fly, and land safely while enjoying the most breathtaking views in the sky.
Most people have heard the phrase “on Cloud 9,” a state of happiness and bliss. At Cloud 11, we go beyond that. Flying is more than joy - it’s freedom, healing, and a connection to something higher.
Our paramotor training in North Carolina gives every student the chance to experience this feeling for themselves through safe and structured powered paragliding instruction.
Paramotoring at Cloud 11 is a paradox of peace and exhilaration. With the relaxing hum of the motor and the flow of air on your skin, you unlock the greatest superpower of all: the ability to rise above it all!
Up here, the horizon stretches wide and endless. You breathe in crisp, fresh air, taste the clouds, and don’t just watch the sunset… You become a part of it. Golden hour doesn’t just paint the sky; it surrounds you, wrapping you in a view reserved only for those who dare to take those few steps into the air.
Above it all, life slows down. The noise of everyday stress fades beneath your feet. Time becomes your own again, time to heal, time to reflect, time to draw closer to your higher power. Words alone can’t capture the magnitude of what it feels like to fly… because flight isn’t something you describe, it’s something you live.
About AJ Goin
AJ discovered the freedom of flight in March 2019 when he trained with Aviator Paramotor. His passion and ability stood out, and he was invited back as an intern. From there, AJ quickly became an ASC and USPPA-certified paramotor training instructor and served as lead instructor and school manager. Over the years, he has trained over 1,000 students of all ages, from 14 to 76.
His commitment to growth led him to attend advanced SIV courses and perform with the Paradigm Aerobatic Team at airshows across the country, expanding his skill set.
AJ has also led specialized paramotor training courses for Tier 1 domestic and international military groups, taking personnel from no prior experience to advanced operational proficiency in days, resulting in mission-focused flights.
After pursuing other career opportunities, AJ realized his true purpose was in helping others discover paramotor training classes in North Carolina and experience the life-changing freedom of flight. Recently relocated to North Carolina, AJ now offers powered paragliding, paramotor flight, and outdoor flying lessons with a focus on safety, skill, and confidence.
With his depth of experience, professional credentials, and genuine passion for flight, AJ is committed to giving every student the tools to enjoy certified paramotor training, whether through beginner-friendly paramotoring lessons or advanced courses for aspiring instructors.

We are very excited to bring you the latest Iris Infinity models for 2025. The bottom of the frame has received a complete redesign which makes these machines stronger than almost anything else in the lightweight class. Through improved engineering and optimized parts for both weight and strength, the entire unit now offers increased stiffness and durability.
As a result, the new Infinity XL weighs only one pound more than the previous Infinity model, yet it is capable of handling trike inflations, power forwards, and heavy impacts with confidence. All the latest updates are fully backward compatible, meaning previous Infinity machines can receive these upgrades without modification.
Our paramotors come loaded with premium components as standard, offering exceptional value and performance compared to other machines in this category.
The Infinity XL is designed to run a 140cm propeller, extracting maximum thrust from the engine and delivering a significant boost in climb performance. This model is ideal for tandem flying, larger pilots, high-altitude launches, or anyone seeking maximum performance.
The standard Infinity supports 130cm propellers and offers a perfect balance between performance and ease of handling. Its manageable hoop size makes it ideal for beginners, smaller pilots, or anyone looking for the lightest possible machine.
The Infinity series is available in three different models: Base, Standard, and Sport.
The Base model is a beginner-friendly paramotor equipped with a Dudek Powerseat harness and standard metal swing arms. It offers excellent stability and comfort while keeping the design simple and affordable with solid color finishes.
The Standard model adds articulating metal swing arms and a Dudek Powerseat Light harness for improved comfort and a more responsive flying experience. It also includes the signature two-tone color designs.
The Sport model delivers the highest level of performance with articulating metal or carbon fiber swing arms and advanced torque compensation features. This configuration provides an exceptionally balanced flying experience and premium color-matched accents.
All Infinity frames feature a unique geometry designed to improve safety, comfort, and flying performance. This includes a full back protection plate, a reclined seating position for better comfort and thrust angle, wider swing arm spacing for improved weight shift control, and a strong welded core frame with modular legs designed to handle extreme loads.
The Infinity paramotors can be paired with several popular engines including Vittorazi Atom 80, Moster 185 Plus, Factory R, Black Devil, and Polini 202, allowing pilots to choose the configuration that best matches their flying style and performance needs.
DriftAir 2 is a freestyle-focused paramotor wing designed for pilots who enjoy dynamic PPG flying. Developed as the evolution of the original DriftAir, this new version offers improved agility, refined handling, and better stability at high speeds while maintaining ease of use and safety.
The wing was created specifically with freestyle pilots in mind. By removing features required for slalom flying, the design focuses entirely on dynamic maneuver performance, responsiveness, and pilot comfort. Pilots familiar with the previous DriftAir model will appreciate the smoother handling and improved control during aggressive flying.
Key design improvements include a new increased arc, shorter lines, and a revised brake system layout. These changes enhance maneuverability and provide balanced handling during both relaxed and dynamic flights.
The wing also features advanced technologies such as Shark-nose aerodynamics for improved airflow, Flexi Edge Technology for a stronger leading edge, and Dudek Reflex Airfoil for better stability and performance. Additional construction features help distribute canopy loads more efficiently while maintaining durability and precision.
DriftAir 2 is manufactured entirely in Europe using advanced laser cutting technology to ensure high build quality and precise construction.

Wing Loading & Size Selection
Choosing the correct wing size is important for safe and efficient flight. The general recommendation is to select a wing size where your total take-off weight falls near the middle of the recommended range.
Lower wing loading is suitable for calmer flying conditions and improved efficiency, while higher wing loading is typically preferred by experienced pilots seeking faster and more dynamic flight performance.
