About AJ Goin
AJ discovered the freedom of flight in March 2019 when he trained with Aviator Paramotor. His passion and ability stood out, and he was invited back as an intern. From there, AJ quickly became an ASC and USPPA-certified paramotor training instructor and served as lead instructor and school manager. Over the years, he has trained over 1,000 students of all ages, from 14 to 76.
His commitment to growth led him to attend advanced SIV courses and perform with the Paradigm Aerobatic Team at airshows across the country, expanding his skill set.
AJ has also led specialized paramotor training courses for Tier 1 domestic and international military groups, taking personnel from no prior experience to advanced operational proficiency in days, resulting in mission-focused flights.
After pursuing other career opportunities, AJ realized his true purpose was in helping others discover paramotor training classes in North Carolina and experience the life-changing freedom of flight. Recently relocated to North Carolina, AJ now offers powered paragliding, paramotor flight, and outdoor flying lessons with a focus on safety, skill, and confidence.
With his depth of experience, professional credentials, and genuine passion for flight, AJ is committed to giving every student the tools to enjoy certified paramotor training, whether through beginner-friendly paramotoring lessons or advanced courses for aspiring instructors.

We are very excited to bring you the latest Iris Infinity models for 2025. The bottom of the frame has received a complete redesign which makes these machines stronger than almost anything else in the lightweight class. Through improved engineering and optimized parts for both weight and strength, the entire unit now offers increased stiffness and durability.
As a result, the new Infinity XL weighs only one pound more than the previous Infinity model, yet it is capable of handling trike inflations, power forwards, and heavy impacts with confidence. All the latest updates are fully backward compatible, meaning previous Infinity machines can receive these upgrades without modification.

The Infinity series is available in three different models: Base, Standard, and Sport.

DriftAir 2 is a freestyle-focused paramotor wing designed for pilots who enjoy dynamic PPG flying. Developed as the evolution of the original DriftAir, this new version offers improved agility, refined handling, and better stability at high speeds while maintaining ease of use and safety.
The wing was created specifically with freestyle pilots in mind. By removing features required for slalom flying, the design focuses entirely on dynamic maneuver performance, responsiveness, and pilot comfort. Pilots familiar with the previous DriftAir model will appreciate the smoother handling and improved control during aggressive flying.
Key design improvements include a new increased arc, shorter lines, and a revised brake system layout. These changes enhance maneuverability and provide balanced handling during both relaxed and dynamic flights.

Wing Loading & Size Selection
Choosing the correct wing size is important for safe and efficient flight. The general recommendation is to select a wing size where your total take-off weight falls near the middle of the recommended range.
Lower wing loading is suitable for calmer flying conditions and improved efficiency, while higher wing loading is typically preferred by experienced pilots seeking faster and more dynamic flight performance.

This is our 9 day beginner paramotor foot launch course, you can have as little as zero experience or knowledge and we will take you to a minimum of 25 high quality skill building flights guaranteed to achieve your USPPA ppg1 and ppg 2 rating. If there is time for more we will take that opportunity!
This includes tandem training flights, and all the newest and best student gear to get you there. This also includes full ground school covering everything will need to know and then some. With our experience and having trained over 1000 students (several of which are instructors now) we understand that everyone learns differently and at different speeds, so this course is at your individual pace.
There is an add on option to also include PPG3 at a discounted rate. That will be a 4 day course over two weekends to be used when you have had a chance to build some flights at your home LZ and figure out some issues you may be struggling with, or specific skills you want to learn. But we will also run you through the full PPG3 syllabus and ensure you are PPG3 rated by leaving. The idea here is to learn for two days, and go practice what you have learned, as that will bring up more questions, so this allows for maximum efficiency of learning.
We can also do add on trike transition and or other options for discounted pricing. If you have a friend or family wanting to join, we can also work out a discounted rate for you both. Please reach out to me for details.

This is a 4 day comprehensive training course to get you to PPG3 rating. I am flexible on how we schedule this, we have two options, if possible the best solution is a two weekend event. We cover most of the key points the first two day weekend, then allowing you time to take home what you have learned and practice. We can set a weekend a few weeks later to check progress and dial everything in.
This will cover the full USPPA ppg 3 syllabus and then some consisting of: ground school, inflight instruction, and the written portion to get your ppg 3 rating. Gear is not provided but can be rented at an additional cost if desired or needed. (demo wings available when in stock)
Course covers: Energy Management, decent techniques, spot landing, low flight (foot dragging), coordinated turning (intro into wing overs), advanced kiting techniques, more in-depth safety and decision making, and much more!
This is our beginner paramotor wheel launch course, Dont let anyone tell you Trikes or wheeled paramotors are any less fun than foot launching paramotors. Trikes offer a large range of additional capabilities that foot launch cannot.
This course is for those of you that may not be capable of running with weight on your back, maybe not trusting an old knee injury, planning to carry a bunch of gear for para camping, or any other reason really.

This is a 3 day comprehensive Trike Transition Training Course. It is based on you having already attended a full foot launch course and reached ppg2 status. It normally does not require the full three days, that extra day is in case we do not have perfect weather. The good part about wheel launch is that it is not exhausting at all, even in nil wind conditions, which means we can do countless launch and landings, as well as touch and goes to build proficiency extremely fast. This will cover some ground school, and theory behind how this all works, as well as a tandem to help get you up to speed faster. We will teach you how to properly launch WITH OUT, as well as WITH A-Assist. We will teach you about how to properly set up A-Assist as well as safety with wheel launch setups.
Come explore with us the most incredible form of flight! I can go on and on about what its like but words do not do this nearly the justice it deserves!
This is minimum of 30 minute tandem discovery flight, with a preflight, and post flight introduction and summary of how this all works.
It is designed to show you what its like to fly a paramotor and let you see the world from this incredible perspective. We will talk through the process before and during, and you will be given the controls to make some turns yourself. We will also give you some time alone with your thoughts to soak it all in and enjoy the view. If you decide this is for you, and sign up to train with us you will get a credit towards training!
If you have a friend to take add them for a discount! Just select a price option: $150 is for a single instructional tandem flight, $250 is for Two Instructional Flights, and $300 for three Instructional Tandem flights. Please contact me for larger parties as I will need to bring another flight instructor, or offer shorter instructional flights to make sure everyone gets up as we typically only get about a 1-2 hour flight window in the evenings, and a 2-3 hours flight window in mornings depending on weather.
In this course you will learn how to become Certified with ASC to be Tandem Exempt through FAA part 103. This is a 5 day course, that will include trike transition. Minimum of 100 hours of flight, and current in paramotoring. This course we will ensure you have received proper training and understand all aspects of paramotoring, and we will fill in any missing knowledge so as to make you as safe as possible. We take tandem flights, and tandem training seriously, as we are now responsible for others lives. Must prove discipline and proper decision making through the entirety of the course, and if everything goes good you will leave with the ability to legally take up passengers!
